Then again, thanks ilya.. kesungguhan kau mengupdet blog telah menyebabkan aku juge berbara dan berapi untuk hapdet blog aku..
yang mcm dah berbulan2 tak apdet ni..
it felt good to be able to be confident to finish up 600 pages of a story book.. haha.. u see.. i think i'm the most unexcited person on earth when they spread the news that staff will be getting 40% less of books and stationeries from MPH and Popular. Sometimes siap lupa ade less mcm tuh.. What the heck.. my sisters are the one whose gonna benefit the most.. coz they read a lot... and i dont.. hihi
I think ive bought a total of 3 novels so far..and manage to never finish it..not even close!.. the first one wasnt too bad.. at least i am able to understand it..but somehow the book got lost..and when i manage to find it.. the story inside the book also was also lost inside my head.. and so i stare at the book and kept it away..
The second book was written by my friend's favourite author.. tuh la lainkali jangan nak memandai ikut orang..haha..i think the story quite ok..only it does not fascinate me..oh well.. at least it stands comfortably kat rak buku..
The third one.. i dun even know why i buy it.. maybe because die ade tulis short stories and etc etc.. hahaha.. i think most ppl at my age will want to read a book with at least 200 pages of story (at least thats one of my friend's opinion).. but me..i will wander around mph looking for short stories (mcm cerpen tu) that suits me.. haha.. bad luck.. the story was too short and i was like.."wtf"..There are few chapters in the book and i dont even get it if they are connected or not.. hahaha
So i give up reading. Maybe because I read a lot when i was small.. except newspaper.. the physical appearance of newspaper bored me so i didnt read it..=P
Well anyway..there is this one day or days..that ive come across this book called "The Time Traveler's Wife".. It was THICK..like 600 pages.. well thick enough for me at least.. and so i just read the synopsis of the book from the back of it and put it back.. feeling less confident that i could finish it.. or even if i buy it.. it will on be and additional accessories in my room..
But there's also this one day.. that ive decided to watch tv..then suddenly came across a movie soon to be released..Its the Time Traveler's Wife!.. omg omg.. i think fast.. and decided to buy it the next day..sanggup tuh turun kat midvalley.. mak ai..thinking that the book must have been so good or great that they are making a movie out of it..
And so .. I am proud to say that Im reaching 500 pages of the book.. And it sadden me that I'm going to finish it!.. haha.. Never felt like this before.. Anyway what I can conclude is that
I like impossible love stories..
Like Henry and Clare, or Gambit and Rogue, or the geisha with that old man, or Cecilia and Robbie of Atonement or..
Ok ok too much there.. I think you what i mean..
Oh but I dont like sad ending..though im open to it..like atonement.. its because im going to think about it over and over again.. its not like its real but it seemed real to me at least.. I mean.. What if..
and yeah sad stupid stories always made me cry.. shit
